New York Sharks 6 @ Boston Militia 47

It was a warm and muggy night as the New York Sharks faced the Boston Militia in the second round of the playoffs. This was the third meeting between these two teams this year. The first two games did not go well for the Sharks but they were hoping that the third time was the charm. The game was being played in Massachusetts but this time in Burlington as the Militia were dispossessed from their usual home in Somerville.
Despite the loss, it was a good season for New York. The Sharks had made it back to the playoffs after a 2 year hiatus and last week’s victory over the Keystone Assault was their first playoff win since 2007.
