Boston Falls Short
owee! This game was as close as you can get as the New York Sharks (4-0) hold on to defeat the Boston Militia (2-2), 26-24 in Massachusetts. Boston attempted a game winning field goal as time expired, but the 35-yard attempt went wide to the left. New York's Vivian Alberty made a big stop on the preceding play by tackling receiver Amy Saur inbounds at the Sharks' 17-yard line. With the clock running and no more timeouts, the Militia had to rush their field goal team on to the field and caused the kick to be rushed. For more on the game, read our gameday write-up.
